TGIF! I'm just popping in very quickly to share another project using one of the new Fancy Pants lines. The collection of the day is Summer Soul. You can hop on over to the Fancy Pants blog to see what the team has created using this vibrant, sun-drenched collection.
Here's a layout I made of my older daughter during our trip to the east coast a couple of summers ago..Swimming with the jellies (said in my best Crush from Nemo voice...)
The water was filled with jellyfish and the kids were really scared at first. I mean, we live in Iowa. We don't know anything about swimming in the ocean. All we've heard is that jellyfish sting. And it hurts. So they were scared. But then we saw kids catching them and holding them. They were dead and missing their tentacles. Turns out Marlin was right...Dory, the tops, the tops! Only touch the tops! Sorry...another Nemo reference. I can't help it...it's my all-time favorite kid's movie. :-) My older daughter is the most adventurous one of the bunch and it didn't take her long before she was picking them up and holding them.
I used lots of the glitter transparencies here as well as the papers and chipboard. Such fun, summer colors that make me long for some summer sunshine and afternoons at the pool!
That's all for today...thanks for stopping by!
All supplies from the Fancy Pants Summer Soul collection, available February 2012.

Such a fun, sunny layout. Love your layering with the title. I would have been a bit freaked out at the thought of swimming with the jellyfish too, but it would have been pretty cool to see dead ones up close. :)

Very adorable layout! Those colors are fantastic! I love that movie! My favorite quote from that movie is "Just keep swimming, swimming, swimming..."(Done in my best Dori voice) ;)
