Hi there! I'm excited to be participating in a blog hop today for Jane's Doodles. Jane is just super sweet and talented and I'm honored that she would ask me to be her guest today. Her "doodles" are so much more than that...she creates the old-fashioned way -- with pencil and paper and takes those images and turns them into fabulous stamps that we can all enjoy creating with.
I have three cards to share with you today using a brand new set that she's just released called Vintage Christmas. For my first card I used the poinsettia images from the set. There is a solid poinsettia as well as an outline image that would be great for those of you who like to color. I'm not that person, so I used both images and stamped the solid inside the outline.
I love those pretty pink poinsettias that you see all glittered up for the holidays, so I attempted to recreate that look with Jane's stamps.
Next is a card using the vintage Santa image from the set. I just love this guy...I think he's just the sweetest!
I used some Flower Soft on his hat to give him a bit of texture.
And lastly a card using the cutie-pie snowman from the set. I paper-pieced his had and scarf and gave him some rusty jingle bell buttons.
