Good Tuesday morning to you. :-)
I'm just stopping in to share a few of my Papertrey August release projects with you. I'll share the rest of them *hopefully* tomorrow. All supplies that I use in these projects are linked in the thumbnails at the bottom of this post.
First off is probaby my personal favorite from this month...a card using the new Harvest Berries set. I love, love, LOVE this set. I want to use it on everything. The coordinating dies??? LOVE. So pretty.
I created a layered background using Smokey Shadow and Latte ink (Latte is from A Muse). I then layered the Harvest Berries diecuts over the top, stamping them in Pure Poppy, popping them up with foam for extra dimension. I'm also loving the sentiment in the set...love the font combination and how it's a focal point all on its own.
Next up is a card using Simple Sunflowers. If you were at Stamp-a-Faire you probably saw this project in person.
I wanted a whole summer picnic theme, so I stamped some Turning a New Leaf vines along with some Green Thumb strawberries layered of a Picnic Plaid embossed background. The sentiment was done by diecutting a Half & Half strip, then cutting a window using the small Angled Label die and backing it with a bit of cardstock on which I stamped my sentiment.
And lastly today, a card using Maile's new Autum Acorn set along with some leaves from Harvest Berries as well.
I stamped lots of leaves, layering some of them with the coordinating dies.
The ususual color combo was inspired by Basic Grey's Oxford collection which is so perfect for fall...so many warm, pretty prints...love this collection.
