In case you haven't popped over to Nichole's blog or the Papertrey message board, Papertrey Ink is celebrating its 4th anniversary with a two week long celebration! Lots of fun, challenges, and great prizes. You won't want to miss it...so be sure to check out Nichole's blog for all of the details!
Nichole asked the design team to reflect on the past year and choose a favorite project from the year. I just had to pick my little felt monster and coordinating card...
It's one of my favorites becase a) it uses felt, which I love, and b) it uses lots of dies, which I also love. And it uses them in an out-of-the-box kinda way...which goes to show that these products can be used in so many different ways...with or without the coordinating stamps. They are just a wonderful addition to my crafting arsenal.
You can read more about this little monster dude in my original post HERE. Nichole is also offering a download containing photos and instructions for all of the DT favorites. I'm bettin' that's a download you're not going to want to miss. :-) Oh....and did I mention the prize?? Over $700 worth of Papertrey goods are up for grabs...go, leave a comment now!
Celebrating Papertrey style,
Betsy

I loved this monster the first time you posted it and I again I love it this time. I love not only the felt and dies you used but the color choices. And I say the following very lovingly -- this monster is so ugly he just so darn cute and adorable (your talent to make monsters so cute).

Oh my that was one of my favorite as well. I made these for my daughter's preschool class and they are LOVED them!!! She still has her monster on her dresser. Thank you for you creative approach and for making me her "hero". Oh, she now wants a rainbow room like your daughters instead of her pink room. LOL! I think she will have to wait a bit for that.
It's a good life!

HOW did I miss your cute little felt monster? Oh my goodness. I love him. Taking a label and turning him into a creature? I don't think it ever would have crossed my mind. The colors are wonderful and all that felt-y goodness can not be denied.
Thank you for sharing your creativity!
