Hey there...it's been a bit quiet around here...I know. Just to warn you...it might be that way for awhile with the holidays and lots of other things that seem to be popping up.
BUT, right now I have a few Papertrey Ink Sr Team challenge projects to share with you! Nichole challenged us to dust off Believe. This is a fun Christmas set that can be dressed up or dressed down...with lots of great images and beautiful sentiments. I just love the font of the sentiments!
I made a couple of cards with this golden oldie combined with a few new products. One of my favorite thing about using older sets is seeing what new products work well with them!
For this first card, I combined the "Friends..." sentiment with the label from Tiny Treats: Christmas and topped it off with the small heart from the Believe set. The sentiment fit perfectly on the dotted lines of the label stamp.
I added some tiny red pearls to the center for berries and topped it off with an accent from the Pink Paislee Artisan collection, some lace, baker's twine and a rusty jingle bell...
This next card uses the santa image from the Believe set. He is just so cute...I paper pieced him and added some Marth Stewart Tinsel Glitter to his beard and hat.
I wound a sliver tinsel pipe cleaner around a marker and tied it with some baker's twine to make his wreath. And once again you see that postage cancellation image from the 2010 Holiday Tag collection popping up...I just can't seem to get enough of that stamp! I thought it was fun tucked behind that pretty sentiment.
Now be sure to hop around to the other DT members to see their creations using Believe!
