I Challenge you to a Challenge!

Vintage paper packet update:  They went pretty quickly and many of you have asked if there will be more.  The answer is YES!  I have a ton of vintage paper goodies to bundle up...BUT I am leaving on vacation next week and have a TON of stuff to finish before I go, so chances are you won't see more of those in my shop until after I return.  Thanks for your interest!

So...on to other things!  It's my week to be your online Go-to Gal host...which means we'll be having some fun around here.  This week I'm going to focus on all of the fun challenges going on in Paper Crafts world...there is always something to inspire your creativitiy! 

When I get a little stuck, challenges are the best way to get unstuck.  They provide a starting point...a spark.  Right now there are no less than seven challenges going on between Moxie Fab World and Paper Crafts Connection.  Seven!  I don't know about you, but that's enough to keep me busy for a good week!  We have...

Today I'm playing along with the Dancing Laterns Tuesday Trigger.  Isn't that photo gorgeous?  It reminds me of camping when I was a kid...my grandma had a string or lanterns very similar to this that she hung on her camper.  funny, huh? 

Here is my card based on that image...

I created the lanterns using the Tea for Two label die from Papertrey Ink.  I just trimmed off the bottoms.  I cut them from cardstock and pretty Webster's Pages printed vellum.  When adhering them together I adhered the vellum pieces just along the side edges and squished them up a bit to give them dimension.

The sentiment is a 7 Gypsies sticker..."Make every day a holiday and celebrate just living"...which I thought was perfect for the lanterns...they feel like a celebration!
