Hey there....sorry to disappear on you all! I decided to take a little break and work on some things around the house that were needing my attention. I've been itching to do some work in my kitchen....and I am pleased to report that my walls now have a fresh coat of paint in the prettiest shade of dark chocolate...and my ceiling and trims are a fresh, creamy white. I'm going to tackle my cupboards next....they're getting a coat of white paint too...I've been itching to do it for awhile and I'm gonna take the plunge and go for it. Some new countertop is on the list along with some new tiles for the backsplash. I'm so excited and can't wait to see it all come together!
So...now that I've got my house back in order...why does painting one room seem to upset the entire house?...I've dug into my March Papertrey goodies and I can't wait to share some of my projects with you! I'll be back tomorrow night with my countdown post! But in the meantime, here are a few goodies to peek at.
We visited a few antique shops a couple weeks ago while on a little road trip. I picked up a few fun finds including a vintage children's picture dictionary. The Easter sayings and images on these cards are from that book...
My mom also let me dig through her enormous stash of vintage laces and trims, so here's a sweet card using just a few of those goodies. The lined notebook/text paper in the background is from a vintage grocery list pad.
So there's just a few little goodies to make sure that you know I'm still alive and kickin'! These will be going up in my Etsy store a little later after I tackle some laundry that's been neglected because of my painting project!
You'll be seeing lots more from me this week with all of the Papertrey release festivities! See you then!

These are so pretty, Betsy. What a neat idea to use the Vintage Children's Dictionary. Love that look!
