I know...all this talk of spring here on my blog! It's probably making you all even more anxious. I know there are so many of you like us here that are buried under that icky white stuff. And I don't know about you, but I'm tired of the greys, the dirty snow, the blahs. I need some COLOR!!
It's the 1st, which means it's Senior Team challenge time! Nichole challenged each of us to create a spring project using a FRESH and fun color scheme...and this is my latest favorite...
New Leaf, Sweet Blush, Summer Sunrise and Pure Poppy...I love the vibrancy of the green, red and yellow..and then the Sweet Blush softens it just a bit and makes it spring.
For my project, I created some fun seed packet wraps using the Cash and Carry #3 template. It is a perfect fit for a seed packet. That's one of the things I love about the Papertrey templates...you can almost always find the perfect size or shape for just about any gift!
I used Tags for Spring and Green Thumb...some oldie but goodie sets. The pretty patterned paper is from Jenni Bowlin...
I love the pea pod image in Green Thumb...it's just too cute.
And the strawberry...
And here I used the new Tin Types background and accented it with some of the tiny flowers from Green Thumb.
Be sure to hop around to the other design team members to check out their spring projects and be inspired by their color combos!

Hi again! :) I was just thinking how perfect a project like this would be for a crafty get-together... and had a couple of questions. Did you adhere the patterned paper directly onto the seed packet? I can't visualize how the inside works. And... did you use Jenni Bowlin's 12 x 12 papers or the miniatures? Thanks again for the great project! It's the cutest thing I've seen in a long time. :)
