There are times in life that call for extravagance...puttin' on the ritz, going over board, pushing the envelope....you know what I mean. I think creating a gingerbread house from Papertrey supplies to be one of those times. Seriously....what could be more fun? Pour on the glitter, bring out the bling. I had so much fun working with the new Home Made house template and stamp set. My daughter has such a sweet tooth and I thought of her the entire time I worked on this....if she could live in a gingerbread house, what would it look like? Well, for the record, she wants to live in this house. :-) Here is just a peek....you can see more details in the Home Made template download, available on the 15th.
Nichole also challenged us to create a card using the new, soon to be released Home Made set. A little more subdued, a little more elegant, but still really fun,
I stamped the window three times, then masked it off and stamped flowers from Life and Forest Friends inside the panes. A little Cuttlebug embossing border and Basic Grey lace paper finishes it off.
Stamps: Home Made, Life (flowers), Forest Friends (flowers)
Ink: Dark Chocolate, Spring Moss, Pure Poppy, Summer Sunrise, Aqua Mist
Cardstock: Rustic Cream
Other: gems, Basic Grey lace paper, Cuttlebug border embosser
Be sure to check out all the other design team gals to see their sweet abodes!
Simply gorgeous. Wish I knew how you did the masking. Will have to ask around. :)

I saw the house over at Lauren's blog and thought it was cute, but you have done this in all my favorite colors. Absolutely fabulous. I am going to have to get some of her downloads and make some fun stuff myself. :D

A gingerbread house is exactly what I thought of trying when I first saw the template example on Lauren's blog. Yours is ten times cuter than what I envisioned with all those gorgeous colors! :) I love your card too!
