The unexpected....

Hey all!  I'm just popping in for a quick post before the kiddos get home from school and we head out to do some fall shopping.  I've put off buying jeans for the kids as longs as I can...but it's cold in the mornings and this business of doing laundry every other day isn't working out so well.  So!  We're off to do a bit of fall school shopping once they get home.  Julia will love it, Jonathan not so much.  Must be a girl thing...wish me luck.

I've got some Halloween cards today...done for a special Etsy customer.  Halloween is always a bit tricky for me since I love bright colors and Halloween isn't exactly the holiday for bright colors.  So, when she asked me to make some fun pink and black halloween cards, I was instantly excited at the possibility.  Pink witches, glittery ghosts, pink bling...ribbons, glitter and more.  What else could a girl want on Halloween except for maybe a little chocolate? So sit back an enjoy a little parade of the unexpected today...
