We're gearing up for another birthday this week... Jonathan turns 8. I can hardly believe it! Well, he has chosen a Secret Agent/Spy theme for his party. Can't wait! I've got fake mustaches and mysterious glasses for everyone. :-) I just wanted to share the little invite we came up with. Complete with a secret decoder. I used my Cricut to cut the file pocket and folder. I used a transparent red plastic report cover which I picked up at Wal-Mart to cover the window of the file folder. I then printed out the party details onto white cardstock in light blue ink, then stamped over the image with a pattern stamp and red ink. It pretty much makes the blue printed words disappear, but when placed under the red window, the red ink disappears and you can see the lettering. I used the new Graphically Speaking Cricut cart to cut the "confidential" label for the envelopes. Let's just say I scored big points with a certain *almost* 8 year old for this little idea. :-) It was a little hard to capture in the photo, so I hope you get the idea.
And I'll leave you with a fun little project that I made as my last assignment as guest designer at Emma's Paperie. We were challenged to make something using the kraft boxes from her store and this is what I came up with. Just a fun birthday treat using some old-fashioned candy sticks.
That's all for tonight! Thanks so much for stopping by...I truly appreciate all of your sweet comments. Have a great day!

So cool! I think you would score big points with any boy of any age!! haha.
The candy box is amazing. The colors just make me smile.
