Don't you just love having some fun new photos to play around with? I do. I took over three hundred photos over the weekend and it seems like nothing makes me itch to scrap more than new photos. But, first I had to get a little work out of the way. I worked on some Provo Craft projects the last few days, so I thought I'd share what I came up with.
First is a layout of the Bugs (that's what we all have come to call Katie :) ) Yes, I snuck in a photo from this past weekend. I just couldn't resist. We stopped at this beautiful park/garden on the way home to let the kids run for a while and there were such pretty spots for photos. I used the Accent Essentials cart to cut the background design. That adorable bird is from the Indie Art cart (isn't he cute?).
Next up is a card. The flowers and birds are from the 50 States cartridge...when they first sent me that cart I had no idea what I'd ever use it for, but then I looked through the book and there are so many wonderful flowers and birds. Each state's bird and flower are on the cart as well as the flags, which actually have some really fun components that could be used for lots of other things. :-) The background of the card is embossed with the Cuttlebug music embosser and the label is also a Cuttlebug die.
And lastly is a little altered project. I picked up this large wooden crate at the dollar store and altered it up a bit. I thought it would make a fun fallish home decor piece. I used Sassafras papers and Cricut vinyl for the apples and letters. Those adorable apples are from the Home Accents Solutions cartridge...which is fast becoming one of my favorite carts. :)
Well, I better run...Katie came down with a fever this evening and I hear her starting to fuss. Poor girl. Have a good night. :-)
